City Forests sponsors Yellow-eyed Penguin Trust

City Forests is very pleased to announce a 3-year sponsorship deal for the Yellow-eyed Penguin Trust which operates on the Otago Peninsula. The YEPT's mission is to save the endangered Yellow-eyed Penguin (Hoiho). City Forests' contribution will go towards helping with habitat restoration.

No hunting available until further notice in Silverpeaks

Forest visitors to City Forests' Silverpeaks forest area. Please be advised that contractors have now laid 1080 poison in these forests. The forest will be closed to any hunting until further notice. Note that dogs are particularly susceptible to the poison. Please follow the instructions on any signs displayed around forest entrances.
